Yes, this is completely off topic, I know.
Ordinarily, I can not stomach reality shows of any kind. Yet, I find myself hooked on DWTS.
In the 10 years of "doing" community theater (a while ago), I've had a few choreographers trash my dancing abilities.... |vio| (I definitely prefered comedy and drama).
Curiosity made me watch the first show. And it was surprisingly entertaining!

Is anyone else enjoying it? Any opinions on which couple will win?

I like it as well. I don' understand why the judges continually bash Joey McIntyre & his partner. I think they are fun to watch. I am about to gag over the blonde dancer w/ the older guy. She has her hands all over him at inappropriate times (when they are not dancing). And they don't dance that great, yet they get all the raves from the judges. I like the soap opera girl & her partner. They continually improve and she should have won some award for keeping her costume on after the wardrobe malfunction last night!!!

I'm hooked on this one too, but I LOVE J. Petermen (from Seinfeld) and Joey makes me gag. I started watching b/c I am a closet GH fan and wanted to see how Kelly What's-her-name would do. My daughter and I compete to see which of us gets closest to the judges scores.
I know, I have too much time on my hands. I also have TIVO and insomnia.

Well Educ8 and Janet....I'm glad I have company!
I am a GH fan, Janet, and I'm NOT in the closet! Kelly was good at the beginning and she's fantastic now. What a great spirit she has. Amazingly the costume stayed in place, I agree!
Hurley is definitely elegant (I agree with your assessment re: his partner). Joey IS fun to watch and I remember seeing him in person during the NKOTB days. However, he's not the pro and he should listen to his partner more. My favorite is the five feet nothing underdog....the self described clutz. Kelly really impressed me....especially since both her ear drums are destroyed and each spin gets her nauseatingly dizzy.

Whew...and I thought I was alone in this madness!

Buh-Bye, Joey! I was not liking Joey's dance partner too much either b4 they got booted.

IMHO, J. Peterman (jonh o'hurley??) will be a shoo-in. He's really funny too. I miss Seinfeld.

NOpe, I'll put my money on Kelly and Alec. They have the audience votes for sure. John is elegant in his dancing, but watch his feet.
I do think it's a lot harder for the female celeb. The female works harder. Charlotta is great and her choreography and music choices are fantastic. But Hurley....that's a different story. I can't stand his facial expressions. He looks like he's constipated all the time.
Kelly on the other hand....energizing, sexy, right on the money routine-wise and really rhythmic. She never loses it. Plus, I voted for them!
Love this show.
I understand the next kind of show like this will be Ice Skating with the Stars or something like that. Katarina Vitt is supposed to be on it.

:D
So, Clarbineds...wanna bet some money on the results?

I am also having fun watching this show. It's a no brainer which I need sometimes. I'm glad to see that it is down to GH (Kelly) vs. Seinfeld (John). I like both of those actors. I think I would prefer to see Kelly win.

I would like to see Kelly win, too. But I think John will take it. OK Nat if Kelly wins, I will buy you TWO beverages next time we meet. If John wins, you will ?????

That show was so much fun!
I'm kinda sorry it's over. All the celebs did a great job...even Trista (never heard of her before this).

OT...God speed, London.....

Make sure you have those drinks before school starts. Look over your shoulder (or right next to you). You, too, could be the next victim.

Good advice, dbe. I just received the pre and preschool calendar in the mail. Well to tell the truth, it's still in my mailbox. Another TUFF member told me what's on it. Good God, what a bunch of stupid, mindless drivel. I may have to knock down a couple just to get through the afternoon.
