Thought it might be appropriate to post a psalm of thanksgiving
in the Attic this Thanksgiving season.
This is "Old Hundred" from the Living Bible.
Psalm 100
"Shout with joy before the Lord, O earth! Obey him gladly;
come before him, singing with joy.
Try to realize what this means - the Lord is God! He made us - we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his
courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name.
For the Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and
his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation."
Perhaps it is time to think some positive thoughts and look at our
blessings even among all of our worries about the school system.
Maybe we need to list what we are grateful for about our jobs,
families, and lives. This forum has a lot of negative posts, and I
have contributed more than my share.
Here's one positive, I'm grateful for. I'm thankful for the love
and friendship of my co-workers. I'm thankful for the love the
children give me for little things, and sometimes in small,
unexpected ways.
