Your reason for not staying in touch with family is that they don't have an e-mail address...

You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach a family of 3...

Your grandmother asks you to send her a JPEG file of your newborn so she can create a screen saver...

You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home...

Every commercial on T.V. has a web site address at the bottom of the screen...

You buy a new computer and 3 months later it is out of date and now sells for half the price you paid...

Leaving the house without your cell phone is now cause for panic and you turn around to get it...

Using real money instead of credit or debit to make a purchase would be a hassle and takes considerable planning...

You just tried to enter your password on the microvave...

You consider 2nd day air delivery painfully slow...

Your dining room table is now your flat filing cabinet...

You hear most of your jokes via e-mail instead of in person...

You get an extra phone line (or DSL) so you can get phone calls...

You disconnect from the Internet and get this awful feeling as if you just pulled the plug on a loved one...

You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee...

You wake up at 2 AM to go to the bathroom and check your e-mail on your way back to bed...

You start tilting your head sideways to smile:)

A few more:

You've chatted with all your friends over the weekend, but haven't had any human contact since leaving work on Friday.
You won't go out with anyone until you've Googled them.
You finally get a date and you turn up at his or her house with a bottle of cheap wine and a laptop with an internal modem.
Your friends say "LOL" instead of laughing in real conversations.
You Google yourself to find out your forgotten phone number (yes, I've done this).

What's Googling somebody mean? How can you Google yourself? I am so intrigued!

Googling is using the popular search engine Google.com to look up someone's name in an effort to find out more about them. You might Google your neighbor, your old college roommate, or someone you've recently met to see what information is available about them on the Internet.

Because Google has a ranking system, there is an unsubstantiated belief that the more Google returns a person has, the more important they are.

To Google someone, enter their name enclosed by quotation marks in the Google search box like this: "Person's name". If you Google yourself, it is called autoGoogling or egosurfing.

People who Google me would find most of my online activity in the "Groups" section at Google.
